Welcome to the Hopetoun fishery website!

    Our Fishery is set in one and a half acres of picturesque, mature woodland on     the Hopetoun Estate near Winchburgh, West lothian.

    The loch is stocked on a continuous daily top-up basis, with rainbow trout         ranging between two pound and double figures.

    Due to the steeply wooded banks and  great depth of water the fishery is             ideal for both the bait and fly angler. Popular baits include maggot. worm,           wasp grub, power bait and sweetcorn. Poular fly patern  are damsels, sedges,       dancers &  daddies.

    Hopetounfisheries top of the water sport can be exhilarating in the warmer         weather. Due to the steep bankings fish can easily be seen cruising                     around, sometimes in shoals of one hundred plus fish, taking flies from the         surface

    Hopetoun fishery provides easy access for disabled anglers and is open 24           hours a day 365 days of the year.
   
    Our fishery is also equiped with floodlights for exzilerating night fishing!
